Heidi's Story
I got married to Lee Smith (a Navy man) just before graduation. We moved to San Diego for several years, and then to Kansas City (Lee's home town) when his tour was over. I have a wonderful son, Jason, from that 11 year marriage. I was very lucky to have good secretarial skills, and made my career as an Office Administrator. I worked for several large companies, United Telecommunications, Control Data Corporation, and my favorite was a 9 year stint with a local Arcitectural/Engineering firm (GBA). e three beautiful dogs, Llewellin Setters, which we field trial for the National Llewellin Gun Dog Club over the years. I've been blessed with a good life. I remember so many good times with my friends from school, Sharon (Gossett), MaryEllen (Hogins), Molly (Hitchcock) and Vera (Bebe Greer), Kathy (Minsloff), only to mention a few. The only person I dated was Henri Sahut, and we are still friends today. Today most of my activities are with my friends from Church, and a couple of volunteer positions I hold with the church. If you remember me, let me here from you, I would love to reminisce 'the good old days".
